We’re incredibly proud to share that our founder and director, Dr. Cindy Zurchin, received the American Red Cross Power of Red Community Hero Award in June 2026! She was recognized for helping others find their confidence, courage, and possibilities — and honestly, that’s the same thing she’s been doing for our students and families for nearly 40 years.

From founding Cynthia’s School of Dance & Music in 1987 to shaping the next generation of dance educators at Point Park University, Dr. Cindy has built her career around one simple belief: everyone has the potential to grow, if they just have someone who believes in them first. That’s what makes Cynthia’s so special — and it’s what makes this recognition so fitting.
